Bio:

Hi! Marie is my name, though some call me Linda Marie. Both work fine by me! I am a 24 year old woman born and raised in Sweden. In this blog I mean to write about a little of everything, such as movies, religion, me, and whatever I find I want to write about. If I know myself I will write about lots of things, as well as writing many words on nothing. Hopefully something of it can be interesting... Feel free to contact me if you have questions, comments, or just like what you read. So long!

A few random facts about me, in case you are curious.

-I like languages, and I currently want to learn Welsh and Icelandic. I don't have a clue as to why I want to learn those two, but they are fascinating. And Elvish, both Sindarin and Quenya!
-I kind of like grammar. And phonetics. I'm not necessarily good at it, but it's interesting. I have read two courses in grammar and language structure, English and Swedish, on university college.
- A few of the reasons I wanted to study grammar is Tolkien's fault. He invented languages, was a proffessor in linguistics, and something of a genius.
- Just so I will be humbled and realise I am not the in the above mentioned proffessor's legue, I'm trying to invent a language (or two. three. so far) myself. Another big reason to study grammar. Ha!
- I am Christian (I should have mentioned that first! That's what I base my life on after all!), and I go to a Pentecostal church.
- I can play a keyed fiddle a bit, as well as flute. I'm trying to learn some basics in piano as well.
- I want to be a housewife. I think. And an author. (Good luck Marie! You'll need it!)
- I've never been able to write a book, though I've begun many.
- I can learn lyrics to song quickly, and I don't forget them easy.
- My toenails on my smallest two toes look suspiciously much like claws. I need a claw trimmer to cut them, as a normal pair of scissors can't do it.
- The book in the Old Testament I've read the most is the book of psalms.
- My favourite actress is Cate Blanchett.
- I really wanted to go to boarding school when I was little. It seemed fun! They still fascinate me.
- I know most of the prologue from the Fellowship of the Ring (movie) by heart.
- I know the national anthems of Sweden, United Kingdom, France, Norway, USA and Wales.
- I really like choclate.
- I have met and spoken to Sean Astin (Sam in The Lord of the Rings)! I have photo proof. He was very nice!
- I'm writing this at 2.30 in the night. That just proofs it. I'm mad!
